Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction

This series is delivered via Zoom.
The nine-session Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program is designed to help you cope more effectively with both long and short term stressors. Developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn from the Center for Mindfulness at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center, MBSR has been scientifically proven to enhance the ability to manage and reduce pain levels, and improve focus, resilience and the capacity to recover more quickly from challenging life events. Instruction involves mindful meditation practices, discussion, gentle stretching and yoga (appropriate for all ability levels.)
MBSR is an eight-week course taught in 2.5-hour, weekly group classes and one six-hour weekend retreat. Participants are also encouraged to complete approximately 45 minutes of home practice per day.

If you sign up for this class, we ask that you make the commitment for its entirety - space is limited. If you are unable to attend this class or commit to all sessions, please find an alternate offering on this site.

Retreat: 11/5/22 (9am - 3pm)
